All team members play a vital role in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well-organized facility, adhering to punctuality and company regulations.
The team member will work to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and engaging atmosphere in a professional and positive manner.
Management Responsibilities:
Engage in daily communication with the General Manager regarding staff, member interactions, and sales performance. Collaborate with the General Manager to maintain appropriate staffing levels, including assisting in recruitment and termination processes. Establish a consistent communication channel with all employees through regular meetings covering policy updates, sales progress, coaching, and disciplinary matters (under the General Manager's guidance).
Ensure that all promotional materials and displays are accurate and up-to-date. Guarantee that all staff members are informed of and comply with company policies and procedures. Foster a safe and friendly workplace by documenting and reporting any incidents of harassment, discrimination, policy violations, injuries, or other occurrences. In the General Manager's absence, with their approval, manage time-off requests and timecard adjustments in the payroll system. Provide coaching to all staff to support their development into exemplary 10 Fitness employees and guide them towards future growth opportunities within the organization.
Coaching Responsibilities:
Conduct mock sales tours, perform cleaning audits, instruct on Datatrak and payroll systems, and provide customer service coaching. Assist in ordering necessary supplies from various vendors as needed. Support the manager in controlling club expenses by managing payroll and overtime hours, as well as avoiding over-ordering supplies. Oversee inventory management to prevent shortages by securing retail items and reviewing packing slips. Assist the General Manager in managing Group Exercise instructors, classes, and attendance, ensuring adherence to 10 Fitness standards. Achieve monthly and annual financial targets set by Corporate and participate in all required staff meetings. Provide Corporate with insights on improving business operations within the club/market.
Member Experience:
Ensure that every member and guest is greeted warmly and by name. Confirm that all members and guests are on track to meet their fitness objectives and have the necessary resources. Adhere to all check-in and safety protocols. Address member service inquiries, which may include lost and found items, membership changes, personal training questions, and billing inquiries.
Deliver exceptional customer service through a commitment to going above and beyond. Send thank-you cards to all new members daily. Manage tanning beds and massage chairs. Promote and sell memberships, merchandise, and supplements. Advocate for Personal Training and Group Exercise programs. Ensure that all employees understand appropriate workplace conduct and are held accountable for their behavior. Verify that all equipment and facilities are functioning correctly; submit maintenance requests for any issues and ensure timely resolutions.
Club Cleanliness and Safety:
Maintain a tidy and well-organized workspace, ensuring that each employee is responsible for cleaning and organizing their designated area. Conduct routine safety inspections during shifts and escalate any concerns to maintenance or management.

Qualifications / Experience:
A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in sales or customer service is required. Basic computer skills are necessary.
Educational Level:
A High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Exercise Science is preferred. Personal Training Certification is also preferred.
Physical Requirements:
This position often requires the employee to stand for extended periods, walk, kneel, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively. Employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
Employees may be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts while performing their duties and may encounter elevated noise levels in this environment.
