Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the functionality and safety of our manufacturing facility and equipment by implementing a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
  • Operate and test automated lines, systems, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Restore, repair, rebuild, or replace faulty or inoperative components and parts to minimize downtime.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement changes, expansions, and additions to improve the function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment.
  • Schedule forklift maintenance and ensure daily forklift checklists are performed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications to stay current with industry developments.
Requirements
  • Able to troubleshoot electronics, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and make necessary repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Some carpentry skills preferred.
  • Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance experience is required.
  • Technical understanding required.
  • Machinery maintenance experience required.
  • Welding and electrical experience.
  • Able to listen and communicate effectively.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to make limited and independent judgments based on given alternatives.
  • Able to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Able to interpret an assorted number of tasks or instructions.
Work Environment

The Industrial Maintenance Specialist will work in an indoor manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels. The employee will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
