Self-Evaluation Patient Care Technicians reflect on their nursing practices in relation to established standards and regulations. Continuous Learning Patient Care Technicians are expected to acquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge relevant to their duties. Team Collaboration Patient Care Technicians engage with and contribute to the growth of their colleagues. Ethical Practice Patient Care Technicians provide care in a respectful, non-discriminatory, and culturally sensitive manner. Interdisciplinary Collaboration Patient Care Technicians work alongside clients, family members, and healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care. Effective Communication Patient Care Technicians communicate proficiently with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.Additional Responsibilities That May Be Assigned:
Assist with the ordering process as necessary. Help maintain accurate medical records. Welcome and assist visitors by providing information and directing them to appropriate resources. Aid in the procurement of departmental supplies while ensuring fiscal responsibility. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Licensure: Not applicable. Experience: A minimum of 6 months of prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
