  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs and ensure effective communication.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • IEP Participation: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to ensure student needs are met and goals are achieved.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices and professional development opportunities in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Licensure: State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP.
  • Experience: Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
