Swim Instructor

Join Calhoun City Schools as a Swim Lesson Instructor and contribute to the development of our students' aquatic skills.

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Swim Lesson Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Lesson Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swim lessons to students of various ages and skill levels.

• Teach swim lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
• Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
• Assess student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly
• Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective program

• Must be at least 15 years of age and pass the State of Georgia Criminal Background Check
• Ability to work independently and possess energy and enthusiasm
• Ability to positively interact with the general public
• Previous aquatic experience is preferred
• Knowledge of and the ability to demonstrate skills in swim lessons instruction
• Ability to demonstrate skills as required for class content and use teaching aids such as kickboards, diving rings, lifejackets, etc.
• Preferred (not required) Certifications: Current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification and CPR/First Aid Certification

This position requires working in a pool environment with varying water temperatures and humidity levels.
