Water Management Team Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Water Management Team Lead to join our team at the YMCA of Columbia Willamette. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of lifeguards, swim instructors, and coaches in the aquatic department.
About the Role:
The Water Management Team Lead will be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising staff members, as well as maintaining accurate records of pool usage, chemical readings, and program participation.
You will also assist with pump/chemical room maintenance duties, develop and implement the aquatics department budget, and organize special events.
Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have at least 2 years of aquatic leadership experience
- Be available during program hours (including evenings/weekends)
- Possess a current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
- Possess a current CPR/AED & First Aid Certification
- Possess a current YMCA "Leader" Certification
- Possess a current Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Certification (preferred)
- Possess a current CPO or AFO certification (preferred)
- Possess a current YMCA "Team-Leader" Certification (preferred)
- Be able to pass a written/physical assessment prior to duty
