About the RoleWe're seeking a senior engineer to join our mixed-signal design team, where you'll be working on the next generation of NVLINK technology. As a key member of this team, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our products, which span from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement high-speed interfaces and analog circuits, with a focus on innovative integrated circuit designs at data rates of 25Gbps and higher.
- Define circuit requirements and complete design from schematic, layout, and verification to characterization.
- Conduct schematic design of deep-submicron CMOS technologies using industry-standard tools like Spectre and Hspice.
- Take ownership of architecture, transistor design, and verification using industry-standard EDA tools like Cadence Virtuoso.
- Optimize circuit performance to meet system specifications.
- Work closely with layout engineers to provide detailed floorplans and guidance for matching and high-speed routings.
- Provide support for post-silicon bring-up and debugging.
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a strong analog design background.
- 2+ years of analog design experience in industry.
- CMOS Analog/Mixed Signal Circuit Design experience in deep sub-micron processes, especially in FINFET.
- Experience with design and verification tools, including Cadence's IC design environment and analog circuit simulation tools like Spectre and HSpice.
- Experience in crafting test bench environments for component and top-level circuit verification.
- Behavioral modeling of analog and digital circuits.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Analog simulation for noise analysis, loop stability analysis, AC/DC/TRAN analysis, Monte-Carlo, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a great teammate.
We offer a competitive salary range of $128,000 - $258,750, based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You'll also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA is committed to fostering a diverse work environment and is an equal opportunity employer.
