We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Soliant in Monroe, Washington. As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting students with physical challenges and promoting their optimal participation in school activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' gross motor skills, strength, range of motion, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' physical challenges and promote optimal participation in school activities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
- Provide direct therapy services, consultation, and training to students, teachers, and staff.
- Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary.
Requirements:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Washington state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of educational systems and laws related to special education.
