Job Overview

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in a school setting. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to provide tailored therapy plans for students with various needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom setting.
  • Deliver direct therapy services focused on motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive techniques.
  • Develop and lead training sessions for educators and parents on strategies to support students with various needs.
  • Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend related meetings.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active Maryland OT License.
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred.
  • Prior school-based experience is preferred but not required.
