Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join our team at Ascension Health. As a perinatologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with high-risk pregnancies, providing expert care and guidance to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with high-risk pregnancies, utilizing advanced medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
  • Recommend and participate in efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
  • Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for patients requiring hospitalization.
  • Participate in academic programs, such as medical education and research, as requested.
  • Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal denials in a timely manner.
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, including on-call schedules.
Requirements
  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association, preferred.
