Job SummaryThe NICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering care to patients utilizing assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Nurses will collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide education and support to new mothers during the postpartum period, addressing their physical and emotional needs.
- Care for infants and educate mothers on proper care and management.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, utilizing nursing knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Current RN nursing license in good standing with the Nevada State licensing board.
- Minimum of one (1) year post-graduate nursing experience in NICU required.
- BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
