The Teacher's position is pivotal in managing the daily activities within the classroom. A comprehensive understanding of children's developmental stages—cognitive, social, emotional, and physical—is crucial for creating a safe and stimulating educational atmosphere. This role requires effective communication skills with both children and adults, leadership capabilities to guide teaching assistants, and the ability to address any concerns from parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement educational activities that align with established learning standards.
  • Model exemplary teaching practices and contribute to the success of the educational team.
  • Develop age-appropriate programs that encourage children's holistic development.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and conduct progress meetings.
  • Adhere to center policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
  • Oversee the work of assistants and volunteers.
  • Keep detailed records and pursue ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in child care.
  • Strong communication and computer proficiency.

  • Thorough knowledge of child development principles.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Successful completion of background checks and health screenings.
  • Ability to meet physical demands such as mobility and handling materials.
