About the Role:

Our Nurse Residency Program is a comprehensive 12-month transition initiative designed to support new graduate nurses. This program emphasizes professional growth through a structured curriculum that includes:
  • Education
  • Mentorship
  • Leadership
  • Preceptorship
Participants will engage in a blend of theoretical learning and hands-on clinical experiences, aimed at optimizing their orientation and career trajectory.

New nurses will embark on a Clinical Development Pathway, which encompasses both general and specialty-specific training, guiding them from their initial days to certification and beyond. Our goal is to cultivate confident, engaged nurses who deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

Upon successful completion of the residency, nurses will:
  • Provide patient care collaboratively within an interprofessional team
  • Participate in shared governance to influence their practice
  • Prepare for specialty certification or further academic pursuits
  • Engage in our clinical advancement program
  • Explore diverse career paths within nursing
New graduates will immerse themselves in their chosen clinical specialty, receiving guidance tailored to their experience and role. Full-time participation in the residency ensures that they can begin learning on their assigned unit while attending scheduled learning sessions with clinical experts.

Candidate Profile:

We seek individuals who have graduated with an Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (or equivalent) from an accredited institution. Candidates must be licensed as Registered Nurses in the state of NH or eligible for licensure.
