**About The Role:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team at Hilb Group.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing clients' personal insurance needs and possess excellent problem-solving, analysis, time management skills, communication skills, self-sufficiency, and initiative-taking abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively managing an assigned book of business, acting as the primary client relationship manager with responsibility for overall account servicing and maintenance.

This is an office position located in Roseland, NJ, and the salary range is approximately $70,000 - $90,000 per year.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Manage an assigned book of business and develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
  • Handle inquiries regarding insurance coverages, policy changes, and general insurance questions related to all personal lines of business.
  • Process service and endorsement requests and handle necessary paperwork associated with requests.
  • Act as liaison between customers and carriers working closely with both to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship.
  • Review loss information, obtain updated information, renewal applications, and negotiate renewal pricing when necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of all company systems and offerings.
  • Communicate professionally with key stakeholders via phone, email, video, and audio conferencing.

**Qualifications:**

  • A Personal insurance P&C license is required, along with experience in servicing clients' personal insurance needs. A producer license in the resident state is also required.
  • Prior experience working with high-net-worth (HNW) accounts and carrier markets is desirable.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Knowledge and background in insurance are essential.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analysis, time management skills, communication skills, self-sufficiency, and initiative-taking abilities are required.
