About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Summit Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality mammography images and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate mammography equipment to produce high-quality images
- Prepare patients for mammography procedures and provide education on the process
- Verify patient identification and route images to PACS
- Maintain a daily log of patients seen and complete quality assurance checks
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient care
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging techniques and technologies
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Mammography
- Certification in Mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent patient care and customer service skills
