Mammography Technologist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Summit Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality mammography images and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mammography equipment to produce high-quality images
• Prepare patients for mammography procedures and provide education on the process
• Verify patient identification and route images to PACS
• Maintain a daily log of patients seen and complete quality assurance checks
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient care
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging techniques and technologies

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Mammography
• Certification in Mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills
