Job Summary

This position is primarily responsible for assisting the dentists during the examination and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Review patient schedule and correlating charts one day prior to ensure readiness for treatment.
Obtain dental radiographs and cone beam scans on patients and report findings to the doctor.
Provide a high level of patient experience through communicating comfort options, patient education, and treatment expectations.
Assist dentists in the management of medical and dental emergencies.
Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist.
Maintain clinical notes for patients documenting pertinent information in the patient charts.
Assist with daily office cleaning responsibilities.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of dental assistant experience.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
