Senior Field Service Expert

We are seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to lead our site commissioning teams in delivering high-quality paralleling switchgear systems.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading site commissioning teams, maintaining interfaces with product engineering teams, and completing project reports. They will also be required to travel extensively, at least 80% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Lead site commissioning teams to deliver paralleling switchgear systems
• Maintain interfaces with product engineering teams for project scope, system sequence of operation, and field modifications
• Complete project reports, including short-duration safety plans, field service reports, redlines, and method of procedure
• Comply with all safety requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 8 years of experience in field commissioning as a site lead engineer, or a combination of work experience and education
• PLC programming and interface to paralleling switchgear design
• Familiarity with power delivery equipment and paralleling switchgear operations
• Understanding of synchronization hardware, such as Woodward Governor
• Ability to interpret Protective Relay settings and understand system one lines, power three lines, and equipment control and layout drawings
