We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Government courses at our institution. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Political Science or a related field, with 18 hours of graduate work in Political Science. The successful candidate will be able to work with students, faculty, and staff in a professional manner, plan and manage projects and assignments, and provide quality instruction in a dynamic classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Government courses in a variety of formats, including day, evening, and online classes
- Develop and implement curriculum-based outcomes and assessments
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives
- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities
- Master's degree in Political Science or a related field
- 18 hours of graduate work in Political Science
- Ability to work with students, faculty, and staff in a professional manner
- Ability to plan and manage projects and assignments
- Ability to provide quality instruction in a dynamic classroom environment
- Experience teaching in a two-year college or university
The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on student success and academic excellence. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be committed to the development and implementation of curriculum-based outcomes and assessments.
