Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Government courses at our institution. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Political Science or a related field, with 18 hours of graduate work in Political Science. The successful candidate will be able to work with students, faculty, and staff in a professional manner, plan and manage projects and assignments, and provide quality instruction in a dynamic classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Government courses in a variety of formats, including day, evening, and online classes
  • Develop and implement curriculum-based outcomes and assessments
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives
  • Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Political Science or a related field
  • 18 hours of graduate work in Political Science
  • Ability to work with students, faculty, and staff in a professional manner
  • Ability to plan and manage projects and assignments
  • Ability to provide quality instruction in a dynamic classroom environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching in a two-year college or university
