Job Summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a skilled Seasonal Truck Driver to join our team. As a Seasonal Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering grain and agronomy products to local customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely pick up/deliveries to customers, adhering to all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, treating customers professionally and promptly handling any concerns or issues.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles and work environment, completing daily maintenance inspections and ensuring proper equipment maintenance.
  • Report all incidents, accidents, and traffic violations to supervisors immediately.
  • Enroll in and complete mandatory CHS random drug and alcohol testing program and the Continuous Monitoring Program.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must meet minimum age requirement
Preferred Qualifications
  • Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to work additional hours, be available for overnight stays and occasional weekends to meet business demands
  • Valid Class A CDL preferred
  • Hazmat, Tanker, Air Brake endorsements preferred
  • Agriculture background preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Bulk liquid, pressure trailer, or forklift experience preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs
  • Ability to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs and bins, and into back of trailer
  • Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
