Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders in students, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication goals
  • Evaluate and screen students to identify those in need of speech-language services
  • Educate and train families and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with school and district policies
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid Oregon state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working in a school setting is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field
Education
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
  • Valid Oregon state SLP license
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred but not required
