Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Fairview Health Services is a leading healthcare organization seeking a skilled Breathing Specialist to join our team at St. Johns Hospital in Maplewood, MN.

This role offers a competitive salary of $63,900 - $89,400 per year depending on experience, along with an opportunity to work with patients of all ages, from neonatal to geriatric.

About the Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services as prescribed by a physician, following defined treatment protocols and ensuring patient welfare and safety standards during treatments.

This position includes a mix of 8-hour evening shifts, 12-hour night shifts, and rotation for every 3rd weekend.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating patient needs and identifying expected outcomes.
  • Implementing respiratory interventions based on plan of care.
  • Evaluating care and the patient's response to interventions and expected outcomes.
  • Delivering care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patient population or individual patient.
  • Operating and maintaining all respiratory care equipment.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care/Therapy or related field.
  • A Respiratory Therapist License issued by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
  • A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
