We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at Facility Maine Behavioral Healthcare. As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you will play a critical role in providing holistic care to patients in a primary care setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide screening, assessments, and focused brief treatment to patients
  • Offer individual, family, and group work to support patient well-being
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and their office staff to optimize patient outcomes
  • Link patients to additional services and supports as needed
  • Participate in population health activities to target the health and wellbeing of specific groups of people

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. social work, counseling, psychology)
  • Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
  • 2+ years of experience in a health or mental health setting
  • Knowledge of community resources and agencies
  • Ability to teach basic social work principles and applications to the medical setting
