Job Title: Orthopedic and Med-Surg Adult Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Orthopedic and Med-Surg Adult Nurse to join our team at HexaQuEST Global - Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care to patients with orthopedic and med-surg conditions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify their needs and develop effective care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements:
• Current active state license
• 3 years of experience in orthopedic and med-surg nursing
• BLS/BCLS certification
• Ability to work nights and flexible schedules
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

EPIC EMR:
We use EPIC EMR to manage patient records and care plans. If you have experience with EPIC, you will be able to hit the ground running and provide high-quality care to our patients.

Holiday Coverage:
We require our nurses to work holidays as part of our 36/48 schedule. This ensures that our patients receive the care they need, even on holidays.

Contract Details:
This is a contract position with a 36/48 schedule. You will work 36 hours per week and have 48 hours off per week. You will also have the opportunity to pick up additional shifts as needed.
