Job Title: Cloud Security Architect/DevOps Architect

Location: Irving, TX

Duration: 12 months

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain network and security product portals and software solutions
  • Partner with stakeholders to define and align on product roadmaps, priorities, and delivery dates
  • Collaborate with product and delivery teams to drive new solutions, proof of concepts, and architectural direction
  • Lead technology initiatives to grow revenue by implementing Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) solutions
  • Make informed build vs. buy decisions for product development and launches
  • Identify opportunities to integrate network and security services to enhance and differentiate Verizon product offerings
  • Develop and own solution architecture and delivery teams' backlog, ensuring user stories are written and acceptance criteria are met
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to ensure successful implementation of new or enhanced functionality
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a strong technical team that manages product engineering functions for security solutions
  • Develop a product consolidation strategy for security products operating on legacy platforms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 12 years of work experience in enterprise product development
  • Technical knowledge of complex systems and architecture concepts
  • Strong software development and delivery background with experience in delivering public cloud-based solutions
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in developing/migrating solutions using AWS, Angular Frameworks, and containers
  • Good understanding and industry expertise to provide systems perspective and knowledge of compliance frameworks
  • Good working knowledge of network security and cloud-based services
  • Strong experience developing accessible user portals for demanding customers
  • Experience leading and collaborating across cross-functional delivery initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead discussions with product management and customers
  • Ability to analyze business results using key financial metrics
