About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, and oral motor disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients with known or suspected communication disorders using standardized and non-standardized evaluation tools.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address patient goals and needs.
  • Provide education and instruction to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on communication skills and strategies.
  • Consult with medical and educational staff to promote patient communication skills.
  • Participate in departmental and hospital-wide initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • At least two years of licensed experience in pediatric medical-based settings.
  • Speech-Language Pathology License (Pennsylvania) and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
