Position Overview

Enterprise Mobility Inc is seeking a dedicated Accountant to enhance our Fleet Management operations. This role is integral to our mission of becoming the most reliable mobility provider.

The Accountant will be responsible for addressing financial inquiries from designated operational teams, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. Key tasks include generating reports through system queries and creating necessary process documentation. The position also involves managing general ledger accounts, analyzing financial reports, resolving discrepancies, and preparing month-end entries.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $53,000 - $63,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skill level. It is a full-time, hybrid position with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM CST.

As a hybrid role, it requires in-office presence for two days each week.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Accountant include:

  • Preparation and analysis of financial statements for designated Fleet Management divisions.
  • Compiling bank reconciliations and account schedules.
  • Creating journal entries, expense accruals, and allocations.
  • Participating in the month-end closing process with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyzing income statement variances for assigned branches.
  • Offering process improvement suggestions and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting efforts.
  • Managing travel and expense reports, including coding and account classification.
  • Preparing financial schedules for specific Fleet Management divisions.
  • Providing support for accounting inquiries across Fleet Management teams.
  • Generating departmental reports and conducting analyses.
  • Engaging in special projects as required.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications for the position include:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Residence in the Metro St. Louis area or surrounding counties.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • At least one year of accounting experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to accept a salary within the specified range based on experience.
  • Ability to meet work-from-home technical requirements.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
