Job Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions partnered with a leading organization to recruit for a Procurement Specialist in Alameda, CA.

Salary: $30-$37/hour (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process for steel, canvas, rubber siding, nuts, bolts, and subcontract labor. This includes:

  • Effective communication with vendors to ensure timely processing and accurate delivery of materials.
  • Collaboration with accounting teams to verify deliveries match prices and forward to payables.
  • Maintenance of vendor certificates and licenses to ensure compliance.
  • Utilization of Oracle Fusion to convert requisitions to purchase orders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or construction purchasing is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with various stakeholders.
  • Diligence and attention to detail, particularly during peak periods.
  • Ability to analyze data and handle complex information.
  • Previous experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Fusion and intermediate Excel skills.
