Job Summary

Summit Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join their team for a travel assignment in a critical care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care as a Respiratory Therapist in a dynamic and fast-paced intensive care unit environment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective respiratory care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' respiratory status.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and other respiratory treatments as needed.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a critical care setting, preferably in a NICU or PICU environment.
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
