Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team at FFAM 360 Staffing. This role is responsible for providing top-notch patient care services, ensuring seamless communication with healthcare providers, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Confidentiality: Uphold the highest standards of HIPAA policies, maintaining confidentiality of patient information and adhering to OSHA, CLIA, and Infection Control regulations.
  • Patient Preparation: Prepare examination rooms, restocking supplies and instruments, and following administrative supply ordering processes.
  • Patient Care: Greet patients professionally, escort them to exam rooms, take vital signs, record medical histories, and provide exceptional support during treatments and procedures.
  • Patient Education: Distribute educational materials, instruct patients on diagnostics and treatments, and provide written instructions as directed by licensed personnel.
  • Record Documentation: Accurately complete and document patient records using electronic medical record applications.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience as a medical assistant/patient coordinator or completion of a Nursing Assistant program with two years of experience in a primary care setting.
  • Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification within the first three months of employment.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in electronic medical records and ability to acquire knowledge of Allscripts EMR system.
