Job Overview

Cadence Mooresville is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Medication Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing direct care to senior residents, assisting with medication management, and ensuring the highest level of quality care.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience, plus a shift differential of $1 extra per hour for second, third, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting residents by providing compassionate care, engagement, and companionship
  • Assisting in monitoring the medication program
  • Setting up and assisting with self-administration of medication
  • Ordering and receiving medication; Keeping medication files and medical records current and up-to-date
  • Prioritizing and providing encouragement and support to residents
  • Encouraging and assisting with activity programs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • A positive team player attitude and love working with people
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to obtain a Medication Technician Certificate (per state requirements)
  • A current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain
  • Previous experience working in Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Senior Living experience is a plus
