Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Summit Medical Staffing Allied. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Job Summary:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification or equivalent.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in a critical care unit.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
