Position Overview

As a key member of our Diagnostic Radiology team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. This position involves working during the day and requires a commitment to excellence in radiological practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of radiographic procedures with minimal supervision, demonstrating independent judgment and technical skill.
  • Utilize prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Operate and monitor radiographic equipment, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any malfunctions promptly.
  • Implement safety measures, including the use of protective devices to maximize radiation safety for patients and staff.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in radiographic exam rooms and perform necessary clerical functions related to radiology requests.
  • Provide compassionate care to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort during procedures.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within the first year of employment.
  • Current CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Work Environment

This position may involve physical demands and requires adherence to safety protocols to mitigate risks associated with radiological procedures. Frequent interaction with patients is expected, including those with contagious conditions.
