Newborn Hospitalist PNP Opportunity in North Dallas

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in North Dallas. As a member of our newborn hospitalist group, you will provide 10-hour, in-house coverage in the newborn nursery, with no call requirements. Your responsibilities will include admissions and management of infants in the newborn nursery, delivery attendance, transitional care, circumcisions, and consultations with families. You will also provide Level-I to Level-II newborn care at Medical City Dallas and Texas Health Hospital Plano. Our team is committed to providing comprehensive newborn services, and we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide 10-hour, in-house coverage in the newborn nursery, with no call requirements
• Admissions and management of infants in the newborn nursery
• Delivery attendance, transitional care, circumcisions, and consultations with families
• Provide Level-I to Level-II newborn care at Medical City Dallas and Texas Health Hospital Plano
• Collaborate with neonatologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive newborn care

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master's degree
• Strong clinical skills and experience in newborn care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
