Job Summary

Constellis is seeking a highly skilled Firefighter Specialist to join our team in Marietta, GA. As a Firefighter Specialist, you will be responsible for performing emergency response duties in line with established policies and practices by the Department of Defense, the United States Air Force, and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), NAS 3306, and Prime Contractor for the FEMS III Contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assigned to the Operations Division, the Firefighter Specialist will work with an Engine Company, Rescue Squad, and/or Aircraft Rescue Firefighting (ARFF) vehicle
  • Responds to various incidents like fire, medical emergencies, alarms, hazardous materials, and rescue operations
  • Adheres to Constellis and FEMS III SOPs/SOGs
  • Inspects assigned vehicles, equipment, and consumables each duty shift
  • Meets all Firefighter requirements, participates in training, and fulfills fire ground assignments
  • Performs other assigned duties

Requirements

  • Must hold Proboard or IFSAC certifications for Firefighter I & II, ARFF, Driver Operator ARFF, Driver Operator Pumper, HAZMAT Technician, Fire Inspector I, Confined Space Rescue, EMT-B, and more
  • Must pass annual NFPA 1583 agility test and Medical Physical
  • Requires a valid Georgia State driver's license
  • Involves rigorous physical effort and full body engagement for various tasks
