Position Summary:
The Radiologic Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in the healthcare team by performing a variety of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. This position operates under the general supervision of a radiologist and radiology management, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The specialist is expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity while adhering to the policies and procedures set forth by CommonSpirit Health.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct a range of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with precision and care.
2. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations in all imaging practices.
3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
4. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and enhance skills.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience as a radiologic technician with one (1) modality, or three (3) years with two (2) modalities.
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology training program recognized by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
  • Current ARRT certification is mandatory.
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT certification from AHA is required.
  • Certification in Radiology Technology is essential.
  • Fluoroscopy certification is necessary.
  • Radiology Technologist certification is required.
