Medical Physicist

Overview:
OHC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Physicist to join our dynamic team. As a Medical Physicist at OHC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of radiation in medical procedures. You will work closely with our team of physicians, radiologists, and technologists to provide high-quality patient care and help advance the field of medical physics.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement radiation treatment plans, ensuring accurate and safe delivery of radiation therapy to patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of radiation therapy equipment.
- Participate in the development and implementation of radiation safety policies and procedures.
- Provide education and training to radiation therapy staff on radiation safety and quality assurance procedures.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Physics or Medical Physics from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum one to three years experience in clinical radiation physics.
- Must maintain certification and continuing education requirements outlined by American College of Radiology.
- Must pursue continuing education credits in the field.
- Must be eligible to become a board certified physicist.
