International Paper is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete pre-trip inspection reports to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Load and unload finished products in or from trailers, ensuring accurate counts and proper loading.
  • Inspect loads to ensure they are properly loaded and match the correct load before departure.
  • Service all scheduled customers at the end of the daily shift, verifying counts and obtaining necessary signatures.
  • Transport loads by required routes to proper destinations, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Obtain shipping bills of lading and return completed paperwork to the shipping office.
  • Complete daily timecards, driver logs, and other work reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform daily services such as checking oil levels, water levels, fuel, air in tires, and cleaning the vehicle as needed.
  • Report any maintenance items to supervision immediately and be proactive in maintaining the truck and trailers.
  • Check in with the dispatcher prior to leaving for the day and comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and good housekeeping.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Pass substance abuse screening according to company policy.
  • Must have 1 year CDL driving experience, CDL-A Licensing for OTR, and a valid state Commercial Drivers' License.
  • Meet (DOT) Department of Transportation physical and medical requirements.
