Operate and manage one or multiple machine tools, specialized machinery, or automated industrial robots to process metal components according to precise specifications in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operation of various machine tools, specialized equipment, or industrial robots to fabricate metal components in accordance with production specifications;
  • Interpret blueprints or job orders to ascertain product specifications, including dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, and depth of cut, while determining the sequence of operations;
  • Select, position, and secure tools within the tool holder (such as chuck, collet, or tool post);
  • Identify and segregate all nonconforming parts, including those with dimensional discrepancies;
