Medical Screener

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Screener - Reception Technician to join our team at CSL Plasma. As a Medical Screener - Reception Technician, you will be responsible for greeting donors, conducting registration procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our plasma collection center.
Key Responsibilities- Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process, including assessing health history, answering medical questions, and performing health screening procedures.
- Conduct finger stick tests to obtain donor hematocrit and total protein levels.
- Provide education to new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma.
- Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
- Maintain a clean and efficient work environment, adhering to Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in a medical or health provider environment.
- Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
