Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to become part of our safety-focused team. Our Class A Drivers are tasked with executing routes from various locations, covering approximately 2800 miles weekly. This role primarily involves operating tractor/trailer combinations and requires extended travel away from home for up to 12-14 days at a time.

Average annual driver salary: $250K+/year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Operate tractor trailer tanker units and other vehicles efficiently.
  • Transport fuel loads and water materials from Clean Harbors facilities to recycling centers.
  • Ensure compliance with weight regulations and proper utilization of vehicles.
  • Display appropriate placards on vehicles in accordance with Company and DOT regulations.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch, trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.

Key Qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel overnight for 10-12 days at a time.
  • Valid Class A CDL is required.
  • HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are mandatory.
  • A minimum of 12 months of Class A driving experience is preferred.
