Qualifications and Skills Required

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science).
  • Over 8 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Preferred certifications include: Kubernetes Application Developer, Kubernetes Security Specialist, AWS Solutions Architect.

  • Experience in architecting and developing applications utilizing design patterns.
  • Proficient in object-oriented Python REST API development.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Familiarity with container orchestration, Helm charts, and the Kubernetes ecosystem.
  • Experience with various database technologies (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
  • Experience with database virtualization products and replication technologies.
  • Understanding of version control and release management practices.
  • Proficient with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins.
  • Experience in Enterprise IT asset management or related fields.
  • Experience in defining and implementing a comprehensive cloud reliability and observability strategy.
  • Adept at resolving engineering challenges across hardware, software, networks, applications, and cloud service providers.
