Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide to join our team at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for assisting the Cook in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring that quality food service is provided at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Cook in food preparation, including meal planning, food handling, and cooking.
  • Prepare and deliver food and trays to residents and staff, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Wash dishes, clean and sanitize the kitchen, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and facility guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to follow instructions and perform routine tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; specialized training in food service desirable.
  • Current ServSafe certification and Food Handler's card required.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
