Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System (SBHS). As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our behavioral health facility.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, direct, delegate, coordinate, and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with the healthcare team.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license to practice in Illinois.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a psychiatric/mental health setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
