Welding Assistant

The Welding Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting various operational activities carried out by field personnel at client sites.

• Ensures a safe, secure, and healthy working environment by complying with company and client safety protocols and legal regulations, while proactively identifying potential hazards.
• Completes assigned tasks while upholding TEAM's core values.
• Provides assistance to Technicians, Senior Technicians, and Operations in various service-related responsibilities at client locations.
• Contributes to service delivery and customer support during site assignments.
• Supports all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and evaluation activities.
• Aids in diagnosing issues and observes field personnel to determine suitable solutions.
• Assists in documenting all field service operations.

• Preferred experience in a relevant industry.
• Travel requirement: 0% - 25%.

• Position is based out of a branch or site location.
• Field duties involve both indoor and outdoor work in a manufacturing atmosphere.
• Collaboration with other crew members, supervisors, and client personnel.
• Work in manufacturing and/or workshop areas with high noise levels.
• Must be able to wear safety equipment as mandated by the safety department for personal protection.
• May require visiting multiple job sites in a single day and adapting to varying climate conditions.
• Occasional out-of-town travel may be necessary.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Must be capable of walking and climbing, except when performing non-field duties.
• Effective communication skills, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Manual dexterity sufficient to perform routine office tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation.
