We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeper to join our team at Lifespace Communities. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas, including resident homes, common areas, and dining rooms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and disinfect resident homes and common areas, including floors, dusting, and washrooms.
  • Deliver excellent care of residents' belongings, including cleaning, organizing, and storing.
  • Execute timely cleaning duties when residents are transferred, moved out, or discharged.
  • Maintain an organized and stocked work cart, ensuring chemicals are properly labeled and stored.
  • Follow cleaning practices for isolation rooms, adhering to infection control and isolation guidelines.
  • Initiate requests for supplies and equipment needs to supervisor.
  • Assist other departments with cleaning and housekeeping assignments.
  • Comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • No educational requirement.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements, and follow written and oral instructions.
  • No experience required, but a willingness to learn is necessary.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and interact with residents, vendors, and team members.
