Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Travel Contract RN, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in a Critical Care Unit (CCU) setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Active unencumbered RN state license in Wisconsin.
- Two years of current cardiovascular ICU experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) knowledge.
- COVID vaccine with 2 shots and booster.
Skills and Qualifications
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong technical skills.
- Passionate about patient care.
