Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Clinical Dietetics, Nutrition or related field, be a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and have previous experience in long-term care settings. As a Dietician, you will evaluate the nutritional status and implement nutrition care plans for our residents. You will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure nutritional adequacy and compliance to federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate the nutritional status of residents using comprehensive assessments and develop individualized nutrition care plans.
- Collaborate with culinary teams to provide balanced and wholesome meals that support the health and vitality of our residents.
- Develop department staffing plans and oversee food preparation and service.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on nutritional requirements and healthy eating habits.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Clinical Dietetics, Nutrition or related field.
- Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Previous experience in long-term care settings preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
