About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our team at SAFEbuilt. As a Mechanical Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects in the Troy Area, MI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform field inspections during various stages of construction to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Review plans and specifications for commercial, industrial, and residential projects to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with city, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Perform Rental Housing inspections in accordance with municipal ordinances and regulations.
  • Report violations and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • State of Michigan Mechanical Inspector certification.
  • Experience as an inspector in the state of Michigan preferred.
  • Dual licenses preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's license and a good driving record.
