About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the University of Washington Medical Center - Montlake. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of radiographic procedures accurately, independently, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs using various imaging modalities, including fluoroscopic, mobile, and surgical equipment.
  • Assist radiologists and other physicians with sterile procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
  • Perform routine invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, such as myelograms, arthrograms, and gastro-intestinal and urinary tract procedures.
  • Provide exceptional patient care in a clinical setting, prioritizing patient safety and reducing the likelihood of medical/health errors.
  • Conduct quality control checks and report any system or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate staff.
Requirements
  • Registered as an X-Ray Technician by the State of Washington.
  • Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist, before completion of probationary period.
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school and eligible for registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Registry completed before completion of probationary period OR equivalent education/experience.
