Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiography and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety protocols.
  • Position patients for optimal image quality and comfort.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiographic procedures, protocols, and safety guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in diagnostic imaging technology.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Current certification in radiography (ARRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) or Instructor certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
